We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. Menstrual health guidance should be available to everyone, regardless of how they access the web.

Keyboard Navigation
All interactive components are fully navigable with keyboard. Tab through the interface, use Enter to activate, Escape to close modals and menus.
Screen Reader Support
Semantic HTML structure, ARIA labels where needed, meaningful alt text for all images, and properly labeled form controls throughout.
Color Contrast
All text meets WCAG AA contrast requirements. High contrast mode available for enhanced visibility. Information is never conveyed by color alone.
Reduced Motion
Respects the prefers-reduced-motion system setting. All animations and transitions are disabled when reduced motion is preferred.
Mobile-First Design
Responsive across all device sizes. Touch targets are at least 44x44 pixels. Content reflows without horizontal scrolling up to 400% zoom.
Chart Alternatives
All data visualizations include text summaries and descriptive aria labels so the information is available to users who cannot see the charts.
Multilingual Support
Available in English, Spanish, and French. Proper lang attributes and hreflang tags for search engines and assistive technology.
Plain Language
Medical information is presented in clear, understandable language with a "Deep Science" option for those who want clinical detail. Non-shaming, inclusive language throughout.
